Isn't this phenomenom explained by the Electric star theory ?
Well, it seems to me that the Electric stars theory give an excellent explanation for this phenomenom.
Off course as the official theory discard any possibilities of electric current acting on a large scale in space, such a phenomenom can't be easily explained.
In the same way, the Electric Universe can easily explain why galaxy are formed the way they are without needing dark matter, black holes or dark energy.
