- Flu in winter
- I don't totally agree with attacking the membrane as an effective way to fight the virus. The reason the flu is so hard to beat is because it mutates so much. If tropical areas have people affected by the flu as well, this just indicates that the virus can mutate and adapt to the environment. Secondyly, the reason most people get sick in the winter is because we are all in close proximity to each other, and stay indoors with heat circulating around. This is an environment to get sick because we are always breathing in the same air with lots of people around us. Plus, the heat causes the air to be very dry and makes our mucous membranes dry out and thus more prone to infection because mucous is a part of our natural defense against infection. So you can see there are many reasons why we get sick easily in the winter.
