I saw an entire robotic band once...
... they were called "Captured By Robots". Extremely innovative. All of the instruments save one was played by robots. They had robotic drums, guitars, horns, and keyboards. The one human had a guitar, and a microphone with different buttons. Depending on the button he pushed, the voice would be changed to a different robot, and the robot would move it's mouth while he talked. All of the robots sort of danced with the music as well. The music itself was interesting; he played "The Ten Commandments" in the background on mute, and the music was a soundtrack for the film, across a variety of music styles.
