- Where is the love for Nvidia?
-
A number of questions come up:
Why not Nvidia chipsets anymore? Why did they go back to Intel for core logic when they slammed them in a previous tech show for power management concerns?
What happened to added graphics options on the Mac Pro? Where are the Quadro's and the AMD FireGL cards? They only have 1 half-decent graphics card there - the Radeon, and it's not even a "Pro" card. The GT 120 is just pathetically sad.
What happened to hybrid power management with combined Nvidia core logic chipsets and discrete video in the iMac's, like the old Macbook [Pro] architecture, which hasn't changed since early last year?
Why no higher end Nvidia GPU options like GTX 200 series (even if they were mobile versions)?
And finally, why didn't anybody else notice this already?! - Posted by: Joe_Raby Posted on: 10/21/09 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
