I think that BB users will always be BB users and iPhone users are
dedicated to their sets. I have seen more of my acquaintances switch
from non-smart phones to iPhone than to BB, but that is anecdotal
evidence and meaningless.

I don't think RIM has to worry about their market share anytime soon.
And, I agree with you that Apple is taking a bite out of the Palm
market, not the BB market.

But I believe there is room enough for both - and I don't worry about
my favorite - the iPhone - getting better as time goes on. I love it and
would never go with the BB platform. But that's just me.
