Here comes the patent trolls, sigh.

The patent trolls strike again.

IMHO we should have "use it or lose it" laws in the patent system: If you don't use a patent in an actual product, you risk losing it and can't renew it.

Not to mention overhaul the way money is handled in the system. Money should be made from the sale of the patented products, not from developing an artificial market made by lawyers.

More than likely. I'm pretty sure prior art exists. We had touchpads before 1999.

. . . and suing Apple and Microsoft is a big mistake for what appears to be a pretty weak case. They have a lot of legal resources.
