I know for sure that the Intel SSD SLC's scream and there is a huge, noticeable, difference in performance of almost all applications.
The MLC's, seem to have the issues over time, but still not much. And the price difference between the MLCs and SLC SSDs (dont you just love acronyms) is huge.
