I hate to break it to you, but...
... Nike+ is BlueTooth, but just not a fully implemented BlueTooth
stack. Installing iPhone OS 3 on the first and second gen iPhones
should enable this functionality with those phones as well, along with
opening up BlueTooth connectivity with the second generation iTouch.

At least that's what i've been reading here
(http://www.engadget.com/2009/03/17/2g-ipod-touch-to-have-
bluetooth-capability-unlocked-by-iphone-os/), here
(http://www.tomsguide.com/us/iPod-Touch-Bluetooth,news-
3642.html), and here (http://www.pmptoday.com/2009/03/17/ipod-
touch-bluetooth-w-iphone-30/).

It makes sense to activate BlueTooth on the touch, especially
considering Apple's new push into gaming with the device (every
iTouch commercial features games). BlueTooth will make for much
easier multiplayer connectivity than WiFi will - at least on this device.
Also, A2DP capability will make iPod playback in the car much, much
easier, especially if Apple provides a control protocal and 3rd party
manufacturers can comply with a firmware update.
