real problem
there is some real problem starting to arise here. with the arrival of the
iphone now millions of users demand the internet they are used to at home
from their mobile device on the road.

they don't want the baby internet, wap-portals or simply checking emails. they want videoconferencing, video- and audio downloads, streaming, voip
etc. a demand that wasn't there 1-2 years ago.

i guess the carriers simply don't have the bandwith available yet and of
course they don't want to become merely dump pipes. there is some major
strategic battle going on here behind the scenes.
