Very interesting comparison
I will admit that the Voodoo you link to is rather pretty.
I like the all-black shiny appearance.

However, at a 33% higher price for a 33% slower
processor, I have to question the viability of the
machine. I mean, how do you consider the PC better
than the MacBook when you start with a slower
machine and carry it to an even higher price without
ever matching the MacBook's specs?

Ok, I have to admit it's more comparable to the
MacBook Air. Let's look at that one.

Nope, doesn't match the MBA either. $100 more
expensive with 1/3 less hard drive just to start. Even
with effectively the same processor, the front-side bus
is notably slower as well, meaning it doesn't match the
MBA at base specs. Even the "Road Warrior" top model
falls below the MBA's 1.86Ghz model's base config in
both speed and SSD's capacity.

Now who's complaining about Price vs "Pretty?"

Oh, and those comparisons are based on HP's and
Apple's own websites for those models.
