This is ridiculous...

Why in God's name are people completely balking at the new MacBook simply because of the bloody screen? I've seen the new screen, inside a building, under very bright lights, and all I had to do to combat the glare was position the screen at a 90 degree angle from the keyboard. The display is bright enough that you can see it just fine.

And can I just add that matte screens are under no circumstances perfect under a heavy glare either. I've had just as many headaches trying to read matte screens in daylight than glossy screens. Also, that person in the picture is on a plane next to a bright window. Of course you're going to get glare; but if he would shut the window blind and orient the screen towards him more he would be able to see the screen just fine.
