Let's take the hyperbole from both camps:
On the one hand you have the Apple bashers that will
claim this server overload is proof that Steve Jobs eats
babies.
The other side might cite lineups around the block and
"server crashing popularity".
How does it shake down?
I'm reminded of the English socialite who reprimanded
Winston Churchill for being drunk. He replied "yes, madam,
I am, and you're ugly. Tomorrow I will be sober".
The "told ya so's" in this circumstance in particular, point
to the reactionary nature of anti-iPhone rhetoric. The need
to take a pot shot at Apple is so pent up, that if an
opportunity presents itself, these folks will wade into a
huge Apple success, draw attention to themselves and
declare a small and temporary side effect of that success
to be a massive endemic problem. - Posted by: Harry Bardal Posted on: 07/11/08 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
