I can't believe this is hard to understand
Yet, there???s a difference between a wish list for features and blaming Apple for not including features that were somehow "expected" in rumors. Come on!

I can't believe this needs explaining but here goes:
Say the stock price is $100 a week before WWDC. A rumor is leaked that the iPhone will have video chat. That rumor bumps the stock price up to $110. At WWDC, it turns out that the iPhone will not have video chat and the stock price falls back down to $100. Did the stock truly fall 10% because anyone "blamed" Apple for not including video chat or was the stock 10% too high leading up to WWDC? It is the latter of course. No one is "blaming" the poor, innocent, multi-billion $$$/year corporation that is Apple but if a stock price goes up based on rumor (which it does), then it must come back down when that rumor turns out to be false. You said it yourself that stock price is based on speculation and just like the speculation makes the price go up, incorrect speculation, once exposed, must make the price fall again.

Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot who I was talking to. Yes, the stock market is mean and they pick on poor Apple. Didn't mean to burst through your RDF. wink
