VML and SVG? It's sad that he is still bent on those
antiquated technologies that never made it into
mainstream.

Sure, I agree that Microsoft sometimes seems like it lacks a
clearly defined focus. But their agility is on par with the
agile nature of technology. Technology is constantly evolving, improving, and changing. It's an obvious, well-
known truth. If he cannot deal with changes then perhaps
he should change jobs.

Microsoft provides phenomenal support and options to it's
developers. Professional developers know which Microsoft
technologies are top-notch and which were transitional.
What's the point in complaining about old tech?

Sure you most definitely have more options today as an
ISV. But you almost always want to develop for your
largest vertical (or horizontal) market. If you do the
marketshare math its pretty evident, especially if you
already have a massive existing customer base. Sounds
like he is just blowing hot air... He needs to get over it.
