Back to the future....
They had that in a way in the in the old Ti-Books of the early 2000's but they had a fair amount of structural problems like bad hinges and worn out paint/coatings. I bought an 400MHz Ti-Book in 2001 and it died in 2005 because the logic board failed and then I transfer the hard drive to a 12" Al-book. The Ti-Books where made from carbon fiber internal frame and Titanium surfaces.
These "fancy" new materials like Titanium and carbon fiber sounds great but correct implementation of these materials will help in a successful design in laptops.
