- yes at least invest in a ups unit even a small battery backup like the ones for your car are great. as for global warming I live in new england and it's hard to tell sometimes what the weather might bring. if I remember back when I was a young child winter had snow and spring had rain, summer was warm,you had to get up to change the tv channel, and everything had a wire. man do I love wireless portable anything. it is the wave of the future.
