minor correction
First part of the article was in error referring to the program using Chinese "alphabet" as this system was written to recognize the whole characters themselves. The Chinese "alphabet" is a made up symbolic system based on phonetics that is so cumbersome that it is mainly used for helping the reader to pronounce the character. Just to be clear, Chinese are written in characters, NOT in "alphabets."
