Demonstrates the utter imbecility of Windows Mobile
Gee, you'd think that with years of head start, the wizards at MSFT would be producing these kinds of results?

No, less than a year after the monkey boy was deriding the iPhone, it again
demonstrates the uselessness of the whole WM platform; it again demonstrates
how rigid and unthinking the whole product development structure is at MSFT.

I've owned 11 WM handsets. Each was an irritation bordering on acute pain; none
was really useful; all had major quality control problems in software AND hardware.
Why fight with WM when you can enjoy your work?

Simply, the Bloatfarm is incapable of innovation. It produces the same plodding
Win/Office monopoly defending junk year over year. There is no one at the
Bloatfarm that is capable of thinking anew because none dare. All MUST consider
the installed monopolistic bloat base and defend it. This is classical economic
theory about how monopolies degrade over time because they can no longer obtain
product acceptance.

This Ballmerian kind of thinking results in astoundingly third rate products that,
increasingly, find less and less market acceptance. Among those that come to
mind: the lamentable WM products, Xbox with its egregiously high failure rate and
its hemorrhaging cash situation, Live Search (which, it appears, will soon be
renamed Dead Search) and last and certainly least Zune, a afterthought of an
afterbirth. Others could easily be appended to the list.

Is it not time to consider seriously that the whole MSFT product development and
top management machinery at MSFT is broken and needs replacing?
