How is that a real test
The real test would be to use it as normal and see how long it lasts. How many people actually use the wireless off and display dimmed to minimum. If you use bluetooth, then that should be a part of any real test. In my case I don't really care how long the battery would last if I didn't use it as I normally do. Why would I expect it to last the 5 hours it might last under optimal conditions when I will never use it under optimal conditions. In addition to that I want to see you replace the battery by removing a few screws with your screwdriver while you are flying on an airplane. Care to meet the air marshals? Or change the battery while you are on your way to an appointment in the back of a cab. Think the cab driver will stop and stay there to let yuou search for the screws on the floor when you are trying to put it back together.

You can call it a real test if you go for the optimal if you also test the other setups as well and then report it as if you are not doing anything and have the display dimmed and the bT off and the wireless off it would last 5 hours. Under normal usage with emailing or running the office applications it would last x hours. If you watch a video using someone else's software and computer it would last y hours. If you run it to the max and have everything possible going full blast it would last z hours. That would be a real test and you could see how your varied usages would fit so you could plan for what to do about charging the battery.
