The fallout of this economic crises for SaaS is very unclear. Unlike the bubble burst in 2000, this one is not a result of the technology sector. However, all sectors are likely to feel the pain.
As Phil rightly points out, cash is king, and SaaS companies which can ride this downturn will thrive. Unfortunately the uncertainty is holding back investment and this makes it extremely difficult for startups.
