Minor Errata Correction
Phil:
In your last paragraph, you state that customers would need to stay tuned into email in order to learn about service updates. That's incorrect. Actually, within their Bungee Connect developer accounts, customers will see available updates for their registered Bungee Application Server appliances. Additionally, the management console will also have available update notifications that are readily applied through the console upon deliberate administrator action. In short, updates are auto-notified, queued, and applied on demand by deliberate customer action.

Its the second answer in the Q&A here: http://bungeeconnect.wordpress.com/2008/04/23/announcing-bungee-application-server/

Thanks,

Ted
