Email is not the center of the universe
"add voice, video, chat, RSS feed subscriptions and more to their e-mail systems"

WHY? The email system is broken. Why would you want to add more to it?

The next generation of *communication* will not involve the email infrastructure. It will involve a messaging system as easy as the HTTP protocol that allows voice, video and data interaction. I know - we have it built and it works wonders for our clients.

By mid-Spring ('06), our clients' 2,500+ employee won't even be using email to communicate with anyone within their organization.

Email is not the foundation on which future communication systems should be built. And that is why in-sourcing or out-sourcing is a moot debate.
