Not the right way to reuse software
The whole idea of somehow joining together thousands of disparate components to make a coherent whole is wishful thinking.

This approach to software reuse simply cannot be made to work in the real world and is wholly impractical.

Software advances happen by moving to higher levels of abstraction, machine code to assembler and assembler to third generation languages.

The whole component based approach is firmly third generation.
