- Ok so all this network stuff is really cool...

..but like Sun's CPU stratergy it seems as if it is competing with itself. Will this tempt away Linux customers. Ummm.. NO! Will it cause Cisco to loose market share. Umm.. NO!
Perhaps it will make existing Solaris users stick with Solaris. I have yet to find one of my company's many customers say that they moved back to or decided to stay with Solaris because of ZFS or DTrace. The biggest reason for using Solaris is because of existing Applications of some sort that have not been ported or people are too scared to mess with. - Posted by: junknstuff@...
