Still arguing against the mainframe?
The potential new market for mainframes is small. It's possible, Murph, that your real argument is against virtualization in general rather than mainframes in particular, but what you include in the essay doesn't arrive at that point.


Also, where did you get the information about the wealthy having their automobiles drawn by horses? Automobile production began in the mid-1880's, and the design was based on that of carriages, but I hadn't heard about that affectation.
