- Bring in the Clones
- In that timeframe, there was no way I could afford any computer from a brand name (I didn't have Billy's rich parents and had to work at Burger King to feed my tech habit). The two things that made my choice easier was availability of an Apple IIe clone and being introduced to Apple at school (Tandy before that, but they were out of my price range too). The only reason I switched to IBM in the early 90's was because I saw that they owned the business market. I was a Mac user before that. At the end of the day, I need to go where I can earn a living....
