Earlier this year I went to look up some property records in New Mexico. If Lethbridge is feeling sorry for themselves, they can take a trip to Santa Fe, where the property ownership goes back four hundred years through several changes of government as well as major changes in property laws.

They're working on transcribing it all to computers. It won't be any time soon.
