On the other hand
There is a difference between showing a preference for a particular set of ideas and showing enthusiasm for a product.

The former is something that you can presumably justify rationally. The latter seems like joining the cheerleaders for a particular IT company and there are enough of these people out there already.

Inside a company you can either join in with the cheerleaders and presumably gain some career advantage (I implemented product X, now I can go and work somewhere else where they are putting themselves through the same torment) or alternatively you can do your duty to your employer and retain a sceptical stance.
