how low do people go
All game console manufacturers loose money on their consoles including Microsoft. The problem that Microsoft had with the previous console was not with the performance of the chip. Its because it could run all x86 software including applications. All that was required to do this was some tinkering with the MOBO and some smart hackers posted how to do this on a website. So to prevent people buying consoles (and loose money on it) for people to use them as PC's, Micrsoft used a different chip.

Since IBM is big looser like SUN and with your anti-Microsoft attitude you are up to your usual tricks of distoring facts and adding your own spin. This is the equivalent of a looser.
