Humans, what a crock
Warning, personality discussion using Myers-Briggs (MBTI) terminology follows:

Let me put this in Personality perspective. J-types (50% of the general population) ABHOR change! These people invest too much time in their box to destroy it and start over. OTOH, SP-types could care less and don't think about computers more than they have to. This means that an additional 37% of the general population are apathetic to change - unless its cool! NFP-types are notoriously hard to convince of your ideas - since they don't function in the logical world (they represent 7% of the general population). This means that 94% of the general population don't want, don't care or are suspicious of new ideas.

That leaves just 7% of the GP - and half of those are introverts - not the kind of people that will push for change. Of the 3.5% left, 40% are female and will suffer from the "pushy broad" rejection from the male-dominated corporate world. That leaves just about 2% of the GP. WELCOME TO MY WORLD! Not surprisingly, this 2% group (ENTP) are called - INVENTORs!

Actually, I myself am a XNTP - living on the borderline of introvert/extrovert. This probably puts me in less than 1% of the GP. Its nice to be able to PROVE you are unique . . . wink

NOW do you understand the origins of Nimby?
