DRM Is Not The Only Anti-Piracy Measure Out There
Why do people continually suggest that the freedom of the consumer to use digital content privately, lies diametrically opposed to content providers? ability to safeguard their content? DRM is not the only anti-piracy measure out there. Watermarking (or some variation of it) addresses both the consumer and the content providers? concerns. Trying to cram DRM down the throats of consumers is not the answer to content providers? anti-piracy concerns. If content providers persist at this, it will backfire on them.

DRM is extremely insulting, and content providers cannot persist at using this anti-piracy measure against their customers, and think that their customers won?t turn against them.
