Hmm, beating a dead horse?
Multiple CPU cells require parallel programming. SO you either learn to program in parallel or create a NEW FANGLED PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE and force people to parallel program. Its been tried before, and failed miserably before. AFAIK the cray is the only example of "automatic" parallelizing compiling that was ever sucessful in the marketplace - and it was pretty limited in scope.

If you write programs the same old way, and hope some miracle compiler parallelize it for you - you will be dissapointed in your results.
