Microsoft's PC coding .... elaborate please
"JAVA, which started out as a virtualization of the hardware in TV set top boxes and became the business critical technology it is now mainly in response to Microsoft's PC coding habits"
Could somebody actually tell me what Microsoft's PC coding habbits are because I quite figure out what the author is trying to say. I request the author to reply to the following comments of mine (please blog)

The intent of coding habbits doesnt sound fair and I have this to say
1) Hungarian Notation was a Microsoft coding habbit and following it is an excellent practice.
2) Microsoft frameworks for programming languages are excellent.
3) Microsoft tools are excellent.
4) And to top if off, the comments on Microsoft coding comes from someone who doesnt code.

5) If anyone is to be blamed there are some poor programmers who maybe programming on Microsoft platforms and Microsoft tools. Do not blame Microsoft for their poor programming.
