Overhyped, almost hysteria
and blogs like these of course add to that. All in the name of $.

Money needs to be made (pharma), existence needs to be legitimized (health boards & governments), and the media of course needs to sell. Yep, the incentives point to one direction.

Problem is, there is no factual basis for the level of hype and hysteria.

End result: massive loss of money that could have been diverted to health issues that need the money more.
