The defender of status quo?
What a tired old rant. Use technology and the law to enforce ill advised and ill gotten copyright protection.

The internet has revolutionized mankind's ability to communicate and share knowledge and culture, and you want to put it under lock and key to deny mankind that benefit?

How about some creative ideas about how we all can benefit from this new technology while at the same time reasonably compensate the creators?

And, in case you have forgotten, copy right was created (and extended) by passage of legislation in mostly DEMOCRATIC (of the PEOPLE, by the PEOPLE, for the PEOPLE) countries, and can be curtailed/removed by democratic action. There is no inherent and inalienable right to benefit immensely and eternally from your creations, to the detriment of the PEOPLE.
