Free Speach = Republican Dominance???
You say that removing the imposition of ideological quotas (repealing the Fairness Doctrine) was, "a key foundation of the Republican dominance over the past 25 years." So free speech is what caused the supposed Republican dominance????

If you believe that, then you'd think that the moment Democrats regained power, they would be the greatest Big Brother proponents of all time. Hmmmm....wait a minute. Dismantle free enterprise...take over unending list of major public companies...take over media...dictate wage minimums and maximums...impose ideological quotas...preside over the greatest government power grab since the McCarthy era!

Maybe you are right after all! I guess free speech did launch the Republican revival.
