Hardly unlikely, and no surprise. A President inexperienced on the national level) and a veteran VP with strong ties to special interests; where have we seen this before?
Anyone who saw how Cheney used his influence should have seen this coming a mile away. And it's hardly like Biden's ties to the copyright industry were a secret.
People got what they wanted (except for the whole "change" part).
