Piracy is NOT "ok". It's illegal, it's wrong, and it's cheap, and it's evil!

Now, that being said, I'm going to a flaming pit in a handbasket when I die.

The recording/movie industry has no one to blame for their "immense damages" except for themselves. They held onto business practices that were coined in the pre-WWII era, instead of evolving with technology.

Their draconian way of handling new mediums of distribution, as well as their absolute refusal to evolve have done nothing but encourage people to get their movies/songs/etc online. They've painted themselves as the "Sheriff of Nottingham" and people look at Pirate Bay as "Robin Hood", a way to get what they want without supporting a regime that doesn't care about it's consumers.

Now obviously, i'm an uninformed curr. This is all strictly my opinion, and thus is open to "flames" and rebuttals.
