Technology companies have gotten the idea that the are simply not accountable when they screw up. This goes way past Google. It is high time that technology companies be held accountable. From the cloud to the OS. If you want to stop the security issues, be it Google or MS's OS's, hold them financially responsible for their actions or lack thereof. Every other industry product and service providers are held responsible. The time is way over due to apply these same principles to the technology industry.
