Drawback of electric cars
What I see with todays cars is that most consumers will balk at them because they have not really developed the technology yet needed to really sell like a gas powered vehicle. Speaking as an American, we seem to want high powered faster and bigger cars than many nations. When large SUVs, trucks, and 250+ horsepower sedans and coupes go electric, for an aggressive price; thats when America will begin highly investing in this technology. The biggest pioneer of this is Tesla right now, but they need to produce a car that has around 250 HP, todays demanded luxury options "GPS, MP3 input, Climate Control, Stabilitrack..." and be able to sell it for 35-50k and have a sustainable battery for more than 200 miles which would be great for your everyday highway commuter, or a large SUV for the "soccermom"...any thoughts anyone
