Score one for the kids!

Ok, now however illegal this may be [though im not expressly condoning the actions either], its about time that the truth behind the "Speed/red light cameras" come out. Its simply denying the presumption you are innocent until proven guilty. A serious weakness has been discovered in the system, and I would much rather see the tax dollars go to paying the police force to hire several new officers, rather than install cameras - which are 'dumb' - and reports only what it "sees", not the entire truth.

The cameras are long overdue to go away (the program was abandoned in Virginia Beach, VA and subsequently the entire state with exception of areas in Northern Virginia) and the only other place I know that uses them heavily is Delaware. You simply cant replace a cop with a camera and still achieve the same accuracy. Im really surprised the cameras hung around as long as they did.
