As a past victim of bullying in the workplace, I know how horribly debilitating it can be. But it is wrong to make laws against psychological bullying. Who decides? You? What if the people in power who decide have different standards?

Don't make the mistake of thinking that what appears reasonable to someone else may seem completely unjust to you. History is replete with examples of what was once considered ordinary and benign for society now being considered terribly unjust. Never underestimate the ability for a little centralized power to grow well beyond its mandate, and for us to follow the road paved with good intentions all the way to hell.

Yes, this was tragic. Yes, bullying is horrible. But the control freaks who would like to "fix" everything, who would like someone to "do something", are going to cost us our most basic freedoms.
