Just trying to cover their collective behinds
What this woman did posing as "Josh" was just ruthlessly cruel. I believe she DOES deserve a punishment for her actions. As an adult that took actions which led to a child's death, she has a responsibility.
However, they're really throwing the book at her on this one. I don't believe she meant to really kill the child.
It seems to me that a truly cruel prank went horribly wrong here. Now I only know what the media has reported, but from that, these are my opinions.
