Not just security...
Just as at a corporation where the company owns the computer, not you; in the military, the US Government owns the machine, the network its hooked up to,and everything els about it. As such the government has the right to restrict how those systems are used - just as in corporations there are usually rules about what type of personal surfing you can do, when you can do it and how much you can do it.

Come on folks, this is the military. If you want to be able to do whatever you want whenever you want - don't join. It is an all volunteer force you know.

As an old Marine once told me: You joined us, we didn't join you!
