- DOCSIS 1.1 levels, a technology that has been around since 1999. Where were the upgrades to 2.0 (around since 2001) and the latest 3.0 (around since 2006). Comcast as NOT used "good faith and judgement" by their network engineers. They need to be FIRED and hire COMPETANT engineers. Lack of due diligence to keeping your network up-to-date, grossly overselling your loop, and price gouging your customers on top of that is not a way to run a business (especially when competition comes knocking on the door), but also to turn around and cuss because p2p apps are hogging the bandwith? No..thats just irresponsiblity of the ISP, plain and simple.
