The NSA bungled the intel on Iraq...
and historically have been a lot less than accurate. What makes anyone think they will do a better job trying to police the entire internet?

Set aside their incompetence, and you still have a worldwide spying organization with no regard for our constitution staring through people's windows (don't over-react, it's not literal ... just a joke because most folks use Microsoft Windows to access the internet).

It was bad enough when we had to be afraid of online criminals, predators, and ID theft ... but now we have to worry about some offhand comment or venting in a bogus e-mail leading to US citizens undergoing extraordinary rendition and being tortured in one of GW's off-shored secret interrogation centers.

Personally, given the last decade or so of evidence, I would trust my 6 year-old daughter's gossip accuracy over this government's intel reports.

Surely this could be handled *much* better by hiring an actual security company than by empowering a bunch of ham-fisted lawless warmongers.

Just my $0.02 USD as a concerned citizen of these United States, your opinion may well vary ... at least until GW gets finished dismantling our constitution anyway.

Regards,
Jon
