- John Edwards - netroots or astroturf?
- Numerous web politics observers have greeted Adam Nagourney's article as a lot of hype with little in the way of hard numbers. The real story is that John Edwards' online efforts have fallen far short of their Dean 2.0 hopes. An op-ed appeared in The Hill yesterday (John Edwards Needs a Netroots Reboot) deflating the hype that Edwards is still the e-candidate to beat. And epolitics.com dismissed the piece as "channeling (the Edwards) campaign?s spin uncritically and without context...".
