Increased secuirty yes but will it be better?
Having controls in place so people who shouldn't get a drivers license or other id card (birth cert, ssn, etc.) is good. But what I have a hard time with is by integrating all of our systems on one hand does provide greater security I think it undermines personal privacy on the other. The whole thing is a catch 22 (security vs privacy). We should mind our own business but to be safe we need to mind everyone else's. Where the answer lies is open to debate but I hope everyone remembers the lessons of the past.
