That's what my uncle said to me. I was complaining about American corruption and that's what he said. It turns out he's more right than usual, so that's what I'll do. I'm planning a complete departure from this country in 2007. Don't buy the crap that America is trying to win your support back. Voting doesn't exist here. This is the US, not Europe. As long as the USD is intact, the government hasn't changed. The same tyrants who robbed you still have the power of the USD to continue their crap after their facade is over. Nobody cares what you have to say or who you are. If they are government, their prime career motivator was corruption. They're likely more desperate as individuals than you are, and will crumble to bribery and favors in ways you wouldn't imagine. It's what they can get out of you that counts to them. Reform won't do it. The US is on a path toward implosion. Something will give. And if you read in between the lines of the article, they claimed to address "restoring confidence in voting." In other words, the issue is people aren't stupid enough to believe in the government anymore, and they're lying about doing something about it. The fact remains. In America, unless you bribed a politician, you've never voted in your entire life.
