Only $18,000 Per Plane
I'm sorry for the crash and I would hope I never get put in the same situation, but . . . .

There are probably 50 things airlines could add to every plane that would cost millions of dollars. Where does it stop ??

Maybe I should have a full-time ergonomic consultant stand over me to make sure I don't get a carpal tunnel injury. If my employer doesn't pay for the guy and I get injured, I'll sue them because they could have had the guy stand over me.

The plain truth is we can't just spend money to be 99.9999999% safe. Accidents happen and as a society we need to balance risk and cost.
